From 7 March to 9 June 2025, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam will host a joint exhibition featuring Anselm Kiefer, titled Sag mir wo die Blumen sind. The exhibition draws inspiration from Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Kiefer’s latest anti-war themed works.

A single ticket provides access to both museums, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of classic and contemporary art in one experience.

The Van Gogh Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of the artist’s work, including more than 200 paintings, hundreds of sketches, and many personal letters that offer deep insight into his life and creative process.

The museum is open every day throughout the year and features both permanent and temporary exhibitions that rotate with the seasons.

Nice café and shops inside. The timed tours allow for ample time to view and appreciate the works without crowding or being rushed. The audio tour is VERY informative. Great collection of his works.

We thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour with Sophia. She was so informative not only with pieces in the museum, but also Vincent’s background giving us a better understanding of how his personal life impacted his art. Would definitely recommend 10/10!
